As soon as we learned about the shortage of medical supplies in Wuhan, the company set up the Aid for Wuhan Workgroup and leveraged its extensive supply chain and distribution network to allocate resources and purchase RMB 8 million worth of medical supplies for the epicenter in just 2 hours in the afternoon of January 26. Meanwhile, the company contracted with the Red Cross Society of Wuhan immediately to ensure smooth delivery of those medical supplies to healthcare workers, patients, and their families in the epicenter. Xinhua News Agency, sina.com.cn, and many other media outlets reported the news and spoke highly of the corporate social responsibility practices of Warburg Pincus and HTDK.
To help contain the outbreak, all employees of HTDK have stayed vigilant and fought on the frontline of the battle against the epidemic during the Spring Festival. The business team, customer service team, warehousing team, and distribution team have worked overtime for several days in a row. Since the first day of the Chinese Lunar New Year, especially after receiving urgent orders for testing products used in COVID-19 laboratories, HTDK has quickly integrated resources to maintain the distribution of important medical supplies, ensure safe and timely delivery of reagents at minus 25 degrees Celsius, and make greater contributions to COVID-19 prevention and treatment.
